JLG Forklift Parts - In the late 1960's John L. Grove, with his wife Cora started out on a cross country voyage in their RV. Recently retired, after spending several years working with his brother to build their crane company into an industry leader, John had no idea that fateful trip would allow JLG Industries, Inc to emerge. The world leader of mobile aerial work platforms and precision material handling equipment was the end consequence of a road trip.

Whilst on their trip, John spent time conversing with past business acquaintances whom the Groves stopped to see along the way. These conversations combined with a tragic occurrence-two workers being electrocuted on scaffolding when the Groves were visiting Hoover Dam- John uncovered an infinite marketplace for a product that could quickly and securely elevate individuals in the air to accomplish upkeep and other construction services.

Upon returning from their travels, John established a joint venture with two friends and purchased a metal fabricating company in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1970, opening operations with a crew of twenty workers, they manufactured and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. The company incorporates many of the basic design essentials of that original lift into existing models.

Since then, JLG Forklifts have come a long way from when Mr. John L. Grove returned from his fatefull cross-country trip and since the first JLG aerial platform entered the market. As of today, the company has extended itself into many different international marketplaces and continues to cultivate modern equipment to ensure that customers are able to become safer and more resourceful within their workplace.
